Bellinger goes ‘bang bang’ with back-to-back wins at Morphettville to take TRL’s winning total to 28 winners from just 16 runners to the track.
This bloke obviously loves a float trip, sneaking across the VIC/SA border and giving his opposition a good belting.
That’s now his fifth win for the Husslers team with trainer Ben Hayes looking at another start in a fortnight.
“He’s pulled up really well and has arrived back at Flemington, we have a couple of nice options for him on March 25 there’s a benchmark 80 down the straight race down where we would look at claiming with Laura Lafferty”.
“Or in three weeks time there is an option on April 1 at Bendigo a benchmark 84, 1100m but he has come up in tremendous order,” trainer Ben Hayes said
On Monday also at Morphettville, Team Captain ran a brave race in the Adelaide Cup. From barrier 12 he missed the kick and went back to last before making ground on the fence to finish 8th.
It was a run full of merit, with Matt Cumani yet to make a decision about what’s next for Team Captain.
