NSW Tycoons owners are about to be rewarded for their patience with Cool Jakey set to head to the races on the back of two very impressive barrier trials.
Cool Jakey backed up his first Randwick trial win with another ripping performance in Heat 13 over a 1000m on Monday also at headquarters this week.
“I’m thrilled with him, he just keeps on improving, we can press on with confidence,” jockey Josh Parr said.
“I thought a terrific second trial effort from him and he’ll take nice improvement from the effort, he showed natural speed and can sit on the speed which is a big advantage come race day,” trainer Mark Newnham said.
Mark plans to nominate Cool Jakey for Wyong on February 21 and Warwick Farm on February 22.
Looks like NSW Tycoons has some exciting times ahead.
