It’s hard to explain “ownership” you just have to feel it and we are pleased to report owners within The Racing League certainly have that winning feeling.
Across the three teams, TRL has now had 12 runners to the track for a total of 13 wins, that’s a remarkable strike rate.
Your trainers are doing a great job and while there’s no TRL runners this weekend, let’s check out the major chances from your trainers this Saturday.

GAI & ADRIAN ARE FREQUENT FLYERS
The Waterhouse/Bott stable are delighted with the condition of Blue Thorpedo on her arrival back into the yard. She’s strengthened beautifully and looks set for a big preparation. Fingers crossed.
Tomorrow at Rosehill, Twilight Affair (Race 5) is a promising mare coming off an excellent trial win and has been well supported on Sportsbet $8.50 to $7.
Cross Talk (Race 8) was the best-backed runner on the program when winning last start and there’s no reason he won’t win again.
At Moonee Valley, the team has Invincible Jet (Race 9) as a bit of a mystery runner. Currently $9 this horse won first-up on this day last year and at the odds can do it again.
BET: Twilight Affair – Each Way (Rosehill Race 5)
BET: Cross Talk – Win (Rosehill Race 8)
BET: Invincible Jet – Each Way (MV Race 9)
PRIDE HAS PENSO A LEI SPOT ON
Master trainer Joe Pride reports that he is completely happy with Penso A Lei after her unlucky last start effort at Eagle Farm.
Wet tracks again, mean Penso won’t be running this weekend, but Joe will find a dry track, suitable distance, and is confident we’ll see the best of Penso.
At Rosehill tomorrow, Joe has two runners in the last race, Titanium Power $6 and Silent Agenda $19. I’m backing Titanium Power at $6 with Sportsbet but having a cheeky saver on Silent Agenda at the big odds of $19.
BET: Titanium Power – Each Way (Rosehill Race 10)
BET: Silent Agenda – Saver
ARAMIS ONE TO WATCH FOR NEWNHAM
Always have confidence in Mark Newnham trained horses and Aramis (Race 7) fits the bill in the last at Rosehill Gardens.
Aramis is $7.50 with Sportsbet and has won his last two starts and can win again. He’s had 5 starts on a Heavy for 4 wins…outstanding record.
BET: Aramis – Each Way (Rosehill Race 7)
MOODY IN A PURPLE PATCH
Followers of the Pete Moody stable have been collecting more often than not lately.
At Moonee Valley tomorrow he has two good chances at attractive odds.
She’s Amore (Race 3) looks to be a really promising filly. A $200,000 purchase she heads to the Valley off a powerful trial win.
Rusutsu (Race 6) is $10 with Sportsbet, this 5yo mare has been improving with every run this preparation and can win.
BET: She’s Amore – Win (MV Race 3)
BET: Rusutsu – Each Way (MV Race 6)
MICK PRICE & MICK KENT CONTINUE TO BUILD
Watching replays from Flemington there was a horse called Tavidance (Race 8) that caught the eye as a “back me next time” horse.
The booking of Jamie Kah is a strong lead for Tavidance who was strong last start and looks ready to win.
BET: Tavidance – Each Way (MV Race 8)
MAHER TWO PRONGED ATTACK
Not long now before Lethal Thoughts barrier trials for the Vic Husslers team with Dave Eustace more than happy with his progress.
The stable’s best chances at odds tomorrow in my opinion Easy Single (Race 9) at Rosehill. It’s having a good prep, won first-up, and hasn’t missed a place this prep.
Moonee Valley – King’s Charisma (Race 5) is at the juicy odds of $11, has had two warm-up runs and possesses a touch of class. Happy to be on its back.
BET: Easy Single – Each Way (Rosehill Race 9)
BET: King’s Charisma – Each Way (MV Race 5)
HEATHCOTE TO KEEP THE ROLL GOING
Sure he’s had a small end of season freshen up but the Rob Heathcote machine rolls on at Eagle Farm tomorrow.
Rayjen $3.30 with Sportsbet is coming off a win, she makes her own luck up front and should go back to back.
Billionair Baby $3.30 is tight in the market but did look good winning its maiden last start at Doomben and top jockey James Orman is on board.
BET: Rayjen – Win (EF Race 1)
BET: Billionair Baby – Win (EF Race 3)
O’DEA/HOYSTED COULD HAVE ANOTHER GOOD ONE
Apart from Helluva Barty who the O’Dea/Hoysted team is above average, the stable maybe has unearthed another great prospect in Huss On First (Race 5).
It was hard not to be impressed with this fillies maiden win and it only has to repeat that performance to win again.
BET: Huss On First – Win (EF Race 5)
MUNCE SHORT BUT PRETTY GOOD
Race 6 at Eagle Farm looks to be a two horse war of differing styles. Delyth trained by Chris Munce will take a forward position and shoot for home with 200 metres to go.
While Go Wandji will get back to near last and be rattling home. While it may look spectacular, give me the horse up front with some clear air.
BET: Delyth – Win (EF Race 6)
Good luck and good punting.
