EIGHT GUARANTEED WINNERS FOR EVEREST DAY*
October 12th 2023
Here’s eight guaranteed winners for the greatest day of racing at Royal Randwick this Saturday, featuring the World’s Richest Race on Turf, the $20 million Everest!
We’ve drilled down on some sure winners for the day, and if you want to know who we think will win The Everest and why, keep scrolling… and we’ve just included some new Bonus tips
#1 – DRESS WITH SOPHISTICATION AND STYLE
We know this can mean many different things to many different people. But to really make your mark, the official colours of Everest Day are “white with a splash of blue”.
We’re not too sure where this combination comes from, but those in the know swear they are the official colours.
#2 – RACE 6 SYDNEY STAKES
If there’s one horse to watch on the day, it’s Airman who looks like a real rising star.
He’s a last start winner and went super impressive saluting at this very track by close to 2 lengths.
Hugh Bowman is down from Hong Kong to ride him and the Hawkes stable has a massive opinion of this 4 year old son of I Am Invincible.
#3 – PLAN YOUR TRIP
With a crowd of over 50,000 being tipped to converge on Randwick, traffic will be horrendous the wise advice is to use public transport.
If you Pre-book your ticket the cost of transport is included for train, bus and light rail.
#4 – STAY FOR THE CONCERT
It doesn’t matter what your age, make sure you stay for the concert after the last to keep the feel-good vibes going, on the decks is Empire of the Sun.
#5 – THE PAMPER PAVILLION
Don’t be embarrassed to make use of the Pamper Pavilion for guys and gals.
With a big crowd and a top temperature of 27 predicted the Pamper Pavilion is the place to get a touch-up from skilled stylists. There’s even complimentary champagne on offer on arrival.
#6 – RACE 9 : $5m KING CHARLES STAKES
The King Charles is a new race worth $5 million and while we don’t like tipping favourites Mr Brightside ($2.20) is one of our favourite betting conveyances.
Based in Melbourne with the Hayes boys, this bloke loves Sydney, he’s a winner of two Doncaster’s over the famous Randwick mile, he’s undefeated this preparation and just looks like a good thing.
If there is a danger it’s Fangirl, she’s third-up with James McDonald in the saddle and can reel off a serious sectional.
#7 – GO FROM SPECTATOR TO OWNER AND WIN BIG
There’s no other thrill like cheering home a winner you actually own, and now you can do that with The Racing League and win over $250,000 in cash.
When you join a team in The Racing League, you actually own a share of all the horses in that team.
Every time one of your horses runs and earns prize money, your team earns the equivalent amount of prize money in points on the TRL ladder, it’s that simple.
WIN $10,000 EVERY MONTH
If your team tops the table for the month, you’re in with a shot of winning $10,000, finish 2nd and it’s $5,000, and 3rd $2,500, every single month!
WIN $50,000
And if your team is crowned season premiers one owner in your team will win $50,000!!
Not only this but you also get your pro-rata share of prizemoney won by your horses on the track. You’ll also get regular updates on each of your horses directly from your trainers and the inside mail from industry experts each week.
When one of your horses race, you’ll be eligible for owner’s privileges and exclusive access to the mounting yard and if it wins, the winner’s bar.
All for just $27.50 per month,it’s less than a dollar a day to own a stable of racehorses and win up to $10,000 every month of the year!

#8 – RACE 7 THE $20m EVEREST
This year’s Everest is definitely a changing of the guard.
The old champions like Nature Strip and Eduardo have now retired while the new kid on the block Gigi Kick is in the casualty ward.
To our eye, there are only 2 hopes, I Wish I Win and Think About It.
Plenty want to say that barrier 1 is a disaster for I Wish I Win, and we hope the talk keeps up because we will just keep getting a better price.
He won the TJ Smith at his only start at Randwick and is prepared by the master in Peter Moody. Think About It, has won 10 of 11 starts and is the sprinter on the rise. At this stage we are leaning towards I Wish I Win.
Enjoy Everest Day, and Go You Good Thing!

BONUS TIPS & OFFER
Alligator Blood has a massive fan club and justifiably so and they’ll be cheering loudly again at Caulfield when ‘the blood’ tackles the Might and Power Stakes. His win in the Group 1 Underwood Stakes last start was simply stunning and his racing pattern is typical of a Waterhouse/Bott runner “simply go forward and improve your position”.
TIP: Alligator Blood – WIN Caulfield Race 7
Rise of the Masses, Race 2 was good to us during his juvenile years and if he can recapture some of that form, he looks massively over the odds here at $17.
TIP: Rise Of the Masses – Each Way Randwick Race
Soul Choice, Race 10 is coming off a super tough win, and is now up in grade but can win again.
TIP: Soul Choice – Each Way Randwick Race 10
Appin Girl is a nice 3yo filly who’s won 2 of 3 starts and is coming off a good trial.
TIP: Appin Girl – WIN Caulfield Race 2
Uncommon James was a great second first-up and meets Asfoora again here.
TIP: Uncommon James – Caulfield Race 5
At Eagle Farm, Party For Two is tight in the market but maps to get a great run and gets the advantage of the 2kg claim.
TIP: Part For Two – Eagle Farm Race 2
At Caulfield the Maher/Eustace stable can win Race 1 with Kettle Hill, who simply got too far back last start.
TIP: Kettle Hill – Each Way Caulfield Race 1
Kundalini came off a second placing four weeks ago, has trialled since and has appeal at $9.
TIP: Kundalini – Each Way Randwick Race 3
Tony Gollan has a nervous wait at Caulfield on Saturday with his good horse Antino chasing Group 1 glory in the Toorak Handicap Race 10. Antino, was luckless first-up but showed his class last start with an easy win.
TIP: Antino – Each Way Caulfield Race 10
At Eagle Farm we are tipping for Tony to be celebrating a race to race double with last start winner Rising Pacific Race 6 and the ever consistent Devasting Race 7.
TIP: Rising Pacific – Each Way Eagle Farm Race 6
TIP: Devasting – Each Way Eagle Farm Race 7
We tipped Ekaterina last start with great confidence, she ran poorly and missed the placings but it was later revealed that she pulled up lame. We are still fans and will be loading up again at Eagle Farm Race 9, with Ekaterina $4 – she’s never been beaten second-up.
TIP: Ekaterina – Each Way Eagle Farm Race 9
